Happy Valentine's Day Everyone

I love Valentine's Day even though I am not in a relationship. I love all days that people get presents even if its not me. I'm weird I know.

In my internet travels I have come across this article about why Valentine's Day is not fun for everyone and its good. Good as in hilarious (I know I shouldn't laugh, but people laugh at me all the time).

Anyway this stuck out for me as a good way to spend The day.

Well I don't think people go buy "toys" if they want a tasteful experience. Why else would people leave town to go to a sex shop.

So an anchor woman was fired from her main anchor job after being on suspension following her arrest for allegedly hitting a female NYC cop.

Chemotherapy

Well I think almost everyone knows that I would love to watch Good Morning America every morning but the job prevents that. Well late July Robin Roberts told the viewers that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Well she had surgery early in August and it seems she starts her chemo today. Sad. Such a scary disease.

So I read an article today that said that she was appreciative of the well wishes that she was sent. Also that people had sent in tips on how to deal with her treatment.


One suggestion:
"Somebody said eat a lot of bacon before I have chemo," she said. "I don't know about that one. That's a new one."

I guess there is never a bad time for bacon.

Interesting

David Hasselhoff won custody of his two teenage daughters, ages 14 and 17.

We have all heard/seen the drunken cheeseburger tape. So that makes you wonder about the ex-wife. I am not saying he is not fit to parent as everyone has a drunken cheeseburger moment or two in their life. Usually in their 20s though.
