I just can't believe you throw away immediately people. I dropped something on the floor once picked it up because I was going to eat it. Then it fell on the floor again and decided falling on the floor twice was a bit much then threw it away but I was not happy about it. For me I think that a lot of factors come into whether I will eat it like how long did it take to make it, what it is, or how bad I want to eat it.

yeah - that and how clean is the floor & how sticky is the food - obvioulsy peanut butter will pick up more floor-yuck than say a chip...
