Really 8¢ can't be worth this

This is what actors have to do now

http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/56c2d6a703

This has to stop but it is funny. Watch the Hills

No More Nude Scenes

Well Brad Pitt say no more nude scenes.

http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20163191,00.html

Well I say his career is over. Women only watch his movies for a shirtless moment or the "off with the clothes". I wonder has anyone ever really listen to him speak. Not just the sound of his voice. I may be wrong but I don't know.

http://www.pastemagazine.com/action/article/5939/signs_of_life_2007_best_films

Out of the 50 I have seen 4:
Waitress [Adrienne Shelly]

I guess I have some catching up to do.

It is the holiday season

Celebrating Festivus

If you are you can buy you Festivus poles here for $38.

TO see others with their Festivus poles go here. You will find Governor Doyle with his Festivus pole there.

You should stop me seriously.

Ok I watch two of televisions most awful reality shows. Why, would I watch something that I find awful? Well. Entertainment. Now some of you like to look down your nose at my tv picks but they are probably why I am cooler than you.

Brace yourself.

The Real Housewives of Orange County and the Hills are two shows that are must sees for me.

I am now going to link to a few blogs that make fun of these shows and their characters (I mean human being people). I must say that I haven't tried The Real Housewives while drinking lots of red wine. I am about to start though.

The Housewives

That's it for now.

I must be old

So I was looking at my niece's Facebook page and her status said "is happi 2 b..."

Now I don't know why you would spell happy with a I. Maybe its cool. Maybe I need to tell her to think about it like this. Every time you put something on the internet you are representing yourself to anybody who reads it. Not necessarily who you think you are represent yourself to either.

Educators, future employers and anybody else that has something we want uses the things they find to narrow down the opportunity. I guess being cool is something but being intelligent (like I know my niece is) and looking intelligent is something else entirely.

Look at me go

Well I have been reading again.

New subject:
Cuba
embrago
Castro (Fidel and Raul)
new US president

What do you think will happen and how long?

So I did it

I finally broke down and bought a subscription to The Economist. Such a expensive magazine but interesting none-the-less. Well I read a very short blurb about Amazon's new e-book Kindle. It cost $399. I don't know about this. I am definitely not buying a $399 device to read e-material. I think it would be nice to have something like it but that's steep to me. Maybe I am just cheap.

I can't wait to see how this thing does. Ideas, comments?

Thanksgiving is over

Now it's time for Christmas. Well I must say that I am very excited. You know for the time you get to spend with people and the exchanging of gifts. I am not going to lie, I love getting gifts just as much as I love giving them. When I say gifts I am not talking extravagant things. Here's my list:

A Box Grater (for cheese and veggies)
Mattress pad (full-size)
Wine Glasses (White and red)
Cast Iron Skillet
Tea Pot
Wine rack
Business Card Case
Snoopy Sno Cone Machine
2 White Pillow Cases
Beer Bottle Cap Opener

My Christmas List Web Page

Simple things. The most important of the day is the bottle opener. I bought a 6-pack of 312 and got it home realized it wasn't twist off. Why would it be? Had to use the can opener. It has a thing.

Back to why I like Christmas. Like Thanksgiving there is a lot of food and dessert.

Now to get to what will limit my Christmas celebrating the most. I have allergies. I know lots of doctors will says people aren't allergic to Christmas trees. Well I have been tested and I am allergic to ever green trees and I am pretty sure the pine falls into that category. So if you have a real tree and I decline an invitation to your house, don't feel bad. I don't want to get sick.

I have decided that after Christmas this year I am going to buy myself a nice sale priced fake tree. It should be fun.

So let's have fun this Christmas. I wish everyone a good holiday season and I hope you don't have to shop on Christmas Eve.

This just may be one of the essentials this winter.  With Novembeard starting to wrap up and Decembeard on it way this may a good gift.

So here's the link:

Some I am afraid to find out about.  Anyway I think this is a pretty fun think.  I am not sure about you but when I was a kid I probably fictional battled someone wielding one or two of them.

Have you ever had a argument with some about how your powers allowed you to survive a blow from there weapon?

Well if you do you should bring me a Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks. I tried it yesterday and loved it. I also love the pumpkin spice lattes.

Talk about sad times.  This list tells you how many shows are going to be aired.  For a good number of shows.

Heroes Heroes Heroes

*******If you haven't watched or are caught up don't read, but I need to rant*******

Man, the creator said he needs to teach the watchers how to watch the show.  My thoughts on that.  There was a time in my life where I would rather stay at home than try to explain where I was going, what I was going to do when I got there, who exactly would be there, what they would be wearing and so on.  So I watched a lot of tv.  So I think I go a little bit of knowledge of how to watch tv.  How to be entertain.  How to think for myself and how not to be duped by someone who is trying to explain why the audience isn't wowed, intrigued and downright bored with what is happening with the show.

Now to talk a little bit about the characters.

Hiro - My oh my why did it take him so long to leave the past.  I believe his intention was to destroy the future by making out with someone I believe he might be distantly related to.  Lets just hope that he and Ando do something that assumes me soon.   Like go on a quest to avenge Hiro's father's murder.

Jessica/Niki (who ever she is now) - Is going to get really close to dying and I like her.  Not when she is hanging out with Miki and DL but when she's kicking ass.  They are going to waste her character's ability to throw people around on her being sick and I am kind of upset about it.

Mohinder Suresh - He is an idiot.  Idiot, I say.  Come on you are a geneticist.  Geneticisize, something.  Your father is a famous geneticist and your living in the shadow of hir "research" and you have nothing to prove.  He is a bad "mommy" for one .  You know the "company" is no good but you take your kid there because you refuse to use your brain to think.  If they can't have daddy Suresh do they really need a geneticist.  Because the one the show has is an idiot.

Peter - The one character I really like.  Back in the US from Ireland.  Somewhere in time.  I like his storyline the best because at least there is some intrigue.  Helping Adam to save the world.  Finally saw that he has a little rage.

Nathan - Our resident train wreck.  Well not together with is walking wife and kids.  extremely weird hair.  Just found out Peter's not dead may turn around his funk.  Maybe will stop drinking who knows.  The power to fly seems a little lame but oh well his family(life) is drama so he can stay.

Matt Parkman - The other bad "mommy".  Well at least he loves Molly.  Whole identity is based oh his ability to be a cop.  Or a good cop.  Has father issues.  But the same ability as his father but to lame to use it well.  Issues, issues, issues.

Claire - Is going to the dark side.  The boyfriend made her trick someone and she has double daddy issues.  I still think that she has a cool ability.

Wes - "the boyfriend".  I know from a convo with Beth I am not the only one who wants him gone.  I don't know what his purpose is really other than annoy me.  If they have another purpose they should try that.

Noah Bennet - Lunatic gone off the deep end.  He killing people because he is ruthless and now he is going to have to battle Mohinder.  Although we think Mohinder shoots Noah I hope it is Wes.

Sylar - With or without powers I think he is great.  You know for evil.  I lovethe fact that his goal is to kill the wonder twins.

I am sure I have more to rant about.  I will continue to watch every Monday.  Well while its on.  You know the writers can't write.  Come on.  Excite me.

Strike Links

I thought you all deserved some links about the strike.

Writer's On Strike

So I am sure most of you know that writers for tv and film are on strike.

Well if you have this could be a very big deal for those of you who avid tv watchers. Myself included. I am not in the movie or tv business but I think that my insane ability to read a lot of internet in a day gives me a little insight. The shows that are on now depending on how long their season is probably have most but not all of their shows written. Shows starting in January are pretty much in the shitter because they have started writing but probably not enough to get through half the season. Late night shows that are all about what is happening now (you know current news) are definitely screwed.

As for movies depending on how long this strike goes are in much better shape. It takes months to shoot a movie and hopefully it is all written because they start shooting. I bet that there are a a lot of shelved movies and scripts that B, C, or D actors would mind being in. Well we'll see how far the effects go.

I just hope that they (by they I mean Writers Guild of America and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers) come to an agreement soon so I am not stuck watching split seasons filled with reality shows about making babies or robots or the other reality I don't like. I guess if they added enough drama I'd watch it.

So I just downloaded a browser called Flock.  I think I like it because it has all the social networking things integrated into the browser. This is the first post made in Flocks blog post editor and so far so good.  This might make blogging easier for me.

Neglected

Not me but my blog. I am going to try and post more often again. I had a bout of Open House and I'm better now. Anyway. What's new in the world. I'm not sure. What's new with me.

Well lets see. I have been tired lately and eating like crap. I have been thinking of good exercises to do at home. I can't bare to see more of my money go to some place that isn't me. I am looking for a second job. A search that hasn't gone to well for me.I am sure I can find plenty to talk about. Well I have tons of opinions I should start handing them out like candy on Halloween.

The internet

Well I am still looking at celebrity baby names. I have decided that the perfect girls name would be Crystal Princess Rarity.

If you can figure where that comes from and google will help. You will know I am brilliant.
